Global Impact Products Chooses Bay County to Establish Manufacturing Operations

Posted: July 23, 2025

Panama City, Florida - The Bay Economic Development Alliance, an agent of the Bay County Commission (Bay EDA), announced that Global Impact Products LLC (known as Project "CLEAR"), will be establishing a window and door manufacturing operation in Bay County, Florida. The company will create 150 new jobs and will invest $14M in this new operation.

Global Impact Products is a pioneer in the commercial and residential glass and glazing industry, specializing in the design, fabrication, and installation of architectural glass, windows, curtain walls, storefronts, and railings. The company manages all aspects of product development, from concept through creation and installation. They offer a full range of residential and commercial impact products, vinyl products, and thermal products for colder climates. With over 40 years of experience, the company is committed to creating innovative systems that meet client expectations while minimizing costs. Global Impact Products currently imports glass from Merida, in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, via the Port of Panama City. The company plans to expand manufacturing operations in Bay County, Florida, leveraging the Port of Panama City for increased raw material imports while expanding manufacturing operations with a larger facility footprint.

The company will be leasing a county-owned facility located at 6520 Bay Line Drive, which is in the original industrial park in Bay County.

According to Harm van de Mark, President of Global Impact Products,

"We are truly honored to become part of the Bay County community. From the very beginning, we've experienced a welcoming spirit and a strong sense of collaboration that reinforced our decision to expand in this vibrant region. Bay County offers the right environment for thoughtful growth-balancing business opportunity with community partnerships. We extend our sincere thanks to the Bay County Commission and the Bay Economic Development Alliance for their dedication and support throughout this process. As innovators in the commercial and residential glass and glazing industry, we look forward to bringing quality jobs, world-class craftsmanship, and a long-term commitment to this growing community. Together, we're building more than just structures—we're investing in a shared future."

This project was made possible through the combined efforts of the Bay EDA, the Bay County Board of Commissioners, Triumph Gulf Coast Fund, the Port Authority of the Panama City Port, CareerSource Gulf Coast, Haney Technical College, and Gulf Coast State College.

Kyle Shoots, Chairman of the Bay Economic Development Alliance stated, "We are thrilled to welcome Global Impact Products to Bay County. This project represents 150 new advanced manufacturing careers within our community. These new manufacturing careers will have a ripple effect in our community for years to come by attracting new residents to our region and providing good jobs for the people who call Bay County home."

"We believe Global Impact Products will be an excellent corporate partner in Bay County," stated Bay County Commission Chairman, Doug Moore. "The company is making a substantial investment in Bay County with this new manufacturing operation. We have worked closely with Harm van de Mark and his team throughout their site selection process to showcase Bay County as the best location for their business. This project not only brings more jobs to our community, but it will also mean more import/export activity for our international Port. Their creation of 150 new careers in manufacturing provides our citizens with new employment opportunities for years to come."
